Asus Eee Top: A Perfect Second Computer For Your Home

Asus is the known for its Asus Eee PC a very cute and affordable notebook that is perfect for those who wants to have access with their files or the internet wherever they maybe. We all know that the Asus Eee PC is considered one of the most portable PC of all time. It may not be as powerful as the desktop computers and high performing laptops, the Asus Eee PC does a job pretty well. This time around, you will definitely be surprised with the new Asus Eee Top. 
The Asus Eee Top is the desktop version of the popular netbook line. The monitor maybe small and the performance may not be exceptional; however, this can be a perfect second computer for your kitchen or for your kid’s room. The Asus Eee Top has a 1.6GHz Atom CPU, a 1GB RAM and a 160GB hard drive. With these specifications, it will already be enough for your kid’s research and gaming requirements. It only weighs nine pounds making it easy for you to carry the Eee Top anywhere you wanted to. Video conferencing is never impossible with this cute PC because it already has a built-in webcam. It also has an SD and SDHC card reader, an Ethernet, Wifi, and five USB ports. The Asus Eee Top also has an ambient light in blue color placed at the bottom that can be turned off or dimmed if desired, and you will hear no audible fan noise. 
The Eee Top looks so nice with its sleek and classy design and cute keyboard and mouse, which is available in black or white.
The Eee Top runs a Windows XO OS and has a cute and elegant touchscreen menu or navigation program for you to easily jump into the installed applications and games. The bad news is that, it seems like you do not have the chance to customize it. Included in your Eee Top are a selection of Eee branded applications and games like the Eee Cinema for you to watch your favorite movies, an Eee Cam for recording, the Eee Memo to take notes, and the custom edition of Opera wherein one can have the touchscreen browsing experience.
Despite of the mentioned features above, the Asus Eee Top do not have a hard drive, and Asus is planning to offer a matching USB external soon in the form of an optional upgrade. It would also be nicer if this cute desktop will have a TV tuner and have a larger version as well.
The Asus Eee PC has a perfect appearance and has the ability to perform the basic desktop job, but for a person like me who do various changes and do numerous application addition with my PC, this will definitely do not work for me. However, to those who loves cute design and does not consider themselves as power users, the can give a try with the Asus Eee Top. However, I will strongly advice to never replace your main PC with this one. You can have it as a second machine.
