Posted on : 23-04-2009 | By : admin | In : Uncategorized

People who love books definitely rejoice with the release of an eBook reader like the Kindle and the Kindle2. However, they must be even happier with the Fujitsu’s FLEPia. It is a colored eBook reader that allows readers read their favorite books in a colored screen for a livelier and exciting reading experience. The FLEPia was first announced on April 2007 and was proven first in 2006. The FLEPia looks elegant and classy with its less than an inch thickness. It has an 8-inches XGA display that has the ability to display 260,000 colors. In addition, the FLEPia is also packed with Bluetooth  and WiFi connectivity. fujitsu-flepia-ebook-colour-1
You can also store up to 4GB of file size because the FLEPia has a capacity of 4GB via an SD card, has the ability to let you enjoy reading up to 40 hours of continuous reading. When you talk about comfort, the FLEPia will let your comfortably browse with your favorite eBooks through its touchscreen monitor or through its variety of function buttons.
The FLEPia runs in Windows CE 5.0 Japanese, which is the sad part of this product. I do not think non-Japanese individual will get the chance to own one because the manual of this eBook reader are all in Japanese language. The FLEPia will be ship directly from Japan starting on May 29, 2009 at a quite high price of $1,299.99.
The FLEPia colored eBook reader is perfect for those gadget enthusiasts that understands the Japanese language and know how to read the Japanese characters. However, for those who are not of a techie type and knows nothing about Japanese characters, maybe they can perfectly settle with the Kindle and Kindle2. I think these eBook readers are a lot cheaper compared to the FLEPia of Fujitsu. In addition, it is also in English version, thus allows everybody around the globe that understands English to use the said product. However, if you want something more techie, fancy and hip, the FLEPia is the right one for you. fujitsu-flepia-worlds-first-color-e-book-reader-goes-on-sale-1
What I can wish right now is to have an English version of this futuristic gadget. Reading in colored display is such a great and wonderful experience. Though the black and white one provides a cooler vision and won’t hurt your eyes, the colored one gives you the chance to visualize the right and exact appearance of the one you are reading. Maybe it will take some time for Fujitsu to produce an English version of the FLEPia. If that would happen, for sure, eBook fans from all around the globe will rejoice.
Whatever your eBook reader will be, will it be a Kindle, a Kindle2 or a FLEPia, what’s more important is that you have read your favorite eBook with comfort, ease, and most importantly you understand the message of what you are reading. Another important thing that you should get from reading is that you were able to put into action the good teachings that you get from your reading materials.
